Microsoft MyPhone is in Beta

I was surprised to see the Microsoft MyPhone site is already in beta. Its by invite / promotion code only at the moment, but you can signup for the “wait list”.

For those that have not heard, MyPhone is web site that will allow you to sync you calendar, contacts, and more from your Windows Mobile based phone to the web.

The next question is, when will they complete the circle and sync everything from the MyPhone site back to outlook?  On the other hand, Microsoft might be afraid that this functionality would be used by small to mid market businesses, as well as consumers and eat into their Exchange revenue.

None the less it looks to solve a need, and I for one can’t wait.
